Fall Favorites 2016!

Miscellaneous

Fashion & Acessories

1. Berets

So, my first favorite is a cult classic! Berets are so fun to style, they make any outfit adorable! Imagine this paired with a cute pair of stockings and boots. They’re literally a perfect hat for fall.

2. Knee High Boots

Hands down, these are my most worn item this season! I’m wearing at least four times a week. I feel like cinderella in these. Paired with a beret, you’re unstoppable!

3. Brown leather jacket

Usually I always lean towards black. But this fall, I’ve been experimenting with warm tones as you can see by my instagram(@ash.leey). I really love this jacket on warmer days. Plus, I really love the style of this one. I wish it came in black or grey!

4. Sock Ankle Boots

For the past couple of weeks, it’s seemed like everyone had these except me. Now that I’ve a proud owner, I definitely don’t regret this purchase. My pair is from Aldo amd they were around $60. Lately I’ve been making a point to invest in good shoes! These fit the bill perfectly!

5. Band Tees

Such an easy piece to style! They’re cool and make me feel so hardcore. ‘Nuff said!

Makeup & Skincare

1. Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette

I have a newfound love for this palette! I absolutely adore rose gold and this palette is basically a dupe for the naked 3 one!

2. Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation

All month I’ve been reaching for this. It keeps me matte for most of the day and provides full to medium coverage! I’ve also been using a lighter shade as concealer.

I definitely have more skincare favorites, however I plan on saving them for a skincare routine post!

Music

1. Childish Gambino

Recently Childish Gambino came out with two new songs and I love relaxing, jamming out to them! Check him out!

Thanks for reading! I’ll have a November haul coming out soon! Also happy 20th post to me!

Athleisure Lookbook

Fashion

So July has come to an end and that means a new favorites post. Unfortunately I decided not to do one for July. I really didn’t wear any makeup or get dressed up so I didn’t have anything for that category. On top of that, most of my favorites stayed the same. I still listen to Christina and the Queens on repeat and you will always see me sporting a bomber jacket. So, I thought it would be nice to do a little lookbook. This one has an athleisure theme which is an everyday athletic look.                 Let’s jump into it!

Hope you enjoyed this!

Try On Haul: June 16, 2016

Uncategorized

Hello everyone. It’s me again and today I’m bringing you a mini try-on haul! Let’s get right into it!

Shirt: Zara

This shirt was on sale at Zara. It’s very versatile and made of a very breathable fabric. I love it for a casual day out.

Hat: Nyc

I just picked this up at some random tourist store I passed by. I’ve been really into baseball hats and I thought this would be perfect.

Shirt: Zara

This was just too cute to pass up!

Romper: Marshalls (One Clothing)

I love rompers for summer looks! Especially ones with long sleeves!

Romper: Marshalls (Sienna Sky)

Once again, I’ve been loving rompers.

Bomber Jacket: Necessary Clothing

I talked about bombers in my June favorites and I’m still loving them. This is perfect for cooler nights during the summer.

Bomber: Zara

I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile and It was finally on sale, so of course I had to get it.

Pouch: Chelsea Market Nyc

Found this really inspirational pouch at the market’s bookstore. I can’t wait to use it with my bags.

Off the shoulder dress: Necessary Clothing

This reminds me so much of the dresses at Zara but it was only half the cost! I’m definitely going to get a lot of wear out of this because it’s so cute!

That’s all for my mini haul! Hope you all enjoyed and suscribe to me!

My Summer Essentials: Part One

Uncategorized

Since summer is here I decided it was only fair I share with you my summer essentials. This is of list of items I cannot imagine going without this summer. I have decided to make this a two part post. The first half is kinda starting while the second one will come possibly mid-August. This way you guys can get a sense of what changed and what stayed the same. Anyways, let’s jump right into it.

1. Journal

If you are a fellow blogger, I’m sure you don’t go anywhere without your trusted journal, planner, or notepad. Personally, I love having something to write in on hand. Throughout the day I find new sources of inspiration and new ideas. I love being able to pull out a small book to write things down. The next thing I know, I’ve written a new blog post. This summer, I’ll be doing a lot of traveling, which means I’ll constantly have a lot of down time to write.

2. T-shirt Dresses

I absolutely love these! They’re so easy and practical. They can create a look that is either casual or dressed up. For a sporty look, I pair them with converses, but when I want to look more put togethher, I’ll pair them with some heels or wedges. T-shirt dresses are so versatile you can even use them as a swimsuit coverup. Here in New York, it can get very hot which makes it even harder to squeeze into jeans. Thus, dresses provide a more breathable solution. Definitely pick up a t-shirt dress on your next trip to the mall.

3. NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray

On a recent trip to Ulta, I asked for the best drugstore setting spray, which led me to the NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray. This is the most effective setting spray at a drugstore price. I have oily skin and this truly does help my foundation stay matte all day long. It’s perfect for hot and humid days. Of course this is a summer must have.

4. DSLR Camera

For the past year, I’ve been taking a photography class. I started with traditional and took an introductory to digital photography in my second semester. However, summer means I have no place to develop my negatives and what not. Thus, my trusted Canon 300D comes in hand. The quality of my photos is really nice and this camera is beginner friendly. The only downside is it doesn’t record videos. This camer is perfect for capturing summer memories.

5. Backpacks

Ever since my trip to Europe two years ago, I’ve been obsessed with backpacks. I rather have a backpack on than a bulky purs. I love the amount of movement they allow and the space. I think they can make an outfit 10x cuter!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
